Who’s Who on the Convention Committee

The Chairbeing pretends to coordinate and run things while actually doing very little. General and bizarre questions should be directed to her.

The Local Contacts attempt to create a list of places to go and things to do that is long enough to include something for everyone but short enough to read in one sitting. We all wish them the best of luck.

Badge Director: Glinda (glinda@eskimo.com)
The Badge Director has volunteered to spend hours with a printer, scissors, and a Badge-O-Matic creating little pins so that we can all tell one another apart. Since there will be at least 50 of us, this isn’t as easy as it sounds!

Counter of Heads: John the Wysard (jvinson@cyberhighway.net)
The Counter of Heads keeps track of who’s planning to go, who might go, and who will almost certainly be there unless something goes horribly wrong. Since this involves a great many last-minute adjustments, email him your info now!

Travel Director: Beki (beki@home.com)
The Travel Director keeps track of out-of-towners and organizes carpools with the Transport Director to make sure that everyone has a ride to wherever anyone wants to go, as well as acting as co-dispatcher during the con weekend when people need to be picked up from or dropped off at airports, bus stations, and so on.

Transport Director: ElephantChild (fox@wanadoo.fr)
The Transport Director is in charge of ground transport for the duration of the weekend. He works out who’s driving vans, who’s driving other vehicles, who’s riding in which vehicle during the weekend, and so forth. If you can lend a cellphone to one of these drivers Thursday through early Sunday, to help coordinate and troubleshoot who goes where when, or if you will be driving a car or van of any sort, let him know!

Hotel Contact: Electric Chameleon (whiplash@pobox.com)
The Hotel Contact is in charge of bullying the hotel until they let us stay there for next to nothing, plus free breakfasts. Contact him if you wish to assist in this… persuasion. Donations of arms and armor are also welcome.

Gracious Host: Die Fledermaus (diefldrmas@aol.com)
The Gracious Host is insane enough to offer to host the Saturday night dinner party. If you wish to help with the shopping, cooking, or cleaning up, he’s the person to talk to. Monetary donations towards same will be gladly accepted–preferably in cash, no large bills or small change.

Annexes
